Traditionally, the central offices of PIMA were located, where the Central President Stationed. In 1994, a Permanent Central Secretariat was established in Islamabad.

It is composed of a President, a General Secretary and a Central executive. The President is elected at the time of central convention by secret ballots for a period of two years. One person can not be elects President for two consecutive sessions. The General Secretary is a member of the central executive by designation. The central executive is elected for a period of two years on Provincial basis according to the number of PIMA members in each provice. The central executive holds at least two meetings each year for review of its work and further planning.

Provincial Organization:

Each provincial Organization is composed of a Provincial President, a General Secretary and a Provincial executive. All the Provincial Presidents & Provincial executives are elected by Secret ballots at the time of respective Provincial convention for a period of two years. Every Provincial President is a member of the Central Executive by designation. PIMA Azad Kashmir has also been given the status of a provincial branch along with other four Provincial branches.

Local Branches:

Local branches are formed in each city under the Provincial directives. A local branch can be established, if more than two members of PIMA are present over there. The local President is elected for a Period of one year.

Female Branch:

The female members of PIMA constitute the female branch. All the female members participate in the biennial election for the Central President of PIMA. The President of female branch is elected for a period of two years and only female members cast their votes in this election.
