This commitment is based
upon the concept that Islam is a total and perfect way
of life revealed by the creator (ALLAH) of the universe,
this planet and the mankind. Because it is the total submission
of humans to Allah’s Command, that leads to real
health, peace successes and enjoyments of life. Where
as submission of man to his own desires leads to imbalance
in life and thus a disaster.
QURAN is actually the latest edition
of dean brought by all the prophets, from very beginning
of mankind and the Muslim doctors, when practical Islamic
way of life, they were able to lead the whole world for
more than 1000 years, in the field of medicine, but deteriorated
and were enslaved, hot due to any shortcomings in Islamic
but rather due to their own failure to live up to it.
The Prophet’s (PBH) sayings that
------“Allah creates no disease without creating
a cure for it as well” and “the superiority
of the learned over the mere pins is like the superiority
of the moon when it is full over all other stars and the
ink of the sailors is more previous than the Good of the
martyrs”------ direct us towards reaching for unknown
cures and medical research is thus our religions duty. |
