FIMA Council Meeting And IMANA Convention
The annual FIMA meeting and FIMA IMANA Scientific Convention were organized from 28 July to 2 August 2008 in Marrakech
Morocco has a historical background. The Tomb of YOusaf Ben Tashfeen in Marrakech and Jabale Tariq on the border.
FIMA Council Meeting
Achievements and planning reports of all MAS were presented and discussed in the FIMA Council meeting. Report of Pakistan
Islamic Medical Association was presented by president PIMA female branch attended the meeting.
Director of Consortium of Islamic Medical Colleges [CIMCO] Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal [Pakistan] and Director of Islamic
Hospital Consortium IHC Dr.Ishaque [Malaysia] presented their future planning. Expansion of FIMA, Medical students' camps and
Health relief activities were also on the agenda. Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman, Dr. Imran Butt presented the report of FIMA Save
Vision Programme.
FIMA IMANA Joint Convention
The join Scientific Convention of FIMA and IMANA [Islamic Medical Associataion of North America] was largely attended.
This exciting and elaborate programme was held on 31 July to August 28.
Returning from Marrakech there was a tour travel through Meknez, Fez, Atlas Mountains, Rabbat and Casablanca.
Next FIMA Council Meeting
President FIMA Dr. Musa and General Secretary Dr. Tanvir Zubairi announced the next FIMA meeitng 29 in Sudan and 2010
meeting in Pakistan Insha Allah.
